These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of downloadable printable content (“Printables”) made available through www.kwl.com.au and the KWL Digital platform (together, the “Service”), operated by the RE Texts Agency within the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, Australia (“KWL”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or printing any Printable, you agree to these Terms.
1. What are Printables
Printables are digital files (typically PDF) made available for download to authorised users of the Service — for example, chapter or lesson content from the Know, Worship, Love (KWL) Religious Education program. Access to a given Printable depends on your account’s entitlements (school, product, and year-level subscription) and may be limited to specific users or roles, such as teaching staff.
Each Printable is generated for you individually and carries an embedded, personally identifying watermark. Copies distributed outside these Terms can be traced back to the account that downloaded them.
2. Licence grant
Subject to these Terms and your ongoing entitlement to the underlying content, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
• download and print the Printable for your own use; and
• use printed or digital copies with your own students, in your own classroom or school setting, as part of teaching the KWL program.
This licence does not transfer ownership of the Printable or any copyright in it.
3. What you may not do
You may not, without our prior written permission:
• sell, resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise charge for the Printable or any copy of it, whether alone or as part of another product or service;
• share, upload, or redistribute the Printable, in original or modified form, outside your own school or classroom, including on file-sharing sites, public drives, social media, or third-party marketplaces;
• remove, obscure, crop out, or otherwise tamper with the embedded watermark or any attribution;
• represent a Printable, in whole or part, as your own original work; or
• use a Printable in a way that infringes any applicable law or a third party’s rights.
Personal use by you and use with your own class or school is permitted. Creating and selling a product derived from a Printable, or distributing it to people outside your own teaching context, is not.
4. Ownership
All Printables, and all copyright and other intellectual property rights in them, remain the property of the RE Texts Agency, the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, or their licensors. Nothing in these Terms assigns any such rights to you.
5. Access and delivery
Printables are delivered electronically via a secure, authenticated download link tied to your account. Access requires an active, entitled account with the Service; access may be limited in time, such as through a single-use or time-limited link, for security reasons.
6. Refunds
Because Printables are digital content delivered electronically and are unlocked immediately on entitlement, we do not offer refunds for change of mind once a Printable has been made available to you.
This does not affect any consumer guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified. Nothing in this section limits those rights.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or revoke your access to Printables, including previously issued download links, if:
• your account’s underlying entitlement (subscription, product, or school enrolment) ends or changes; or
• we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, including the restrictions in section 3.
Printables already lawfully downloaded and printed before revocation remain subject to these Terms for as long as you retain them.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Service and Printables are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties other than those that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and our liability for any breach of a non-excludable guarantee is limited, at our option, to resupplying the content or the cost of resupply.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service. The version in effect at the time you download a Printable applies to that download; we will post the current version at www.kwl.com.au.

11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
