Overview:
This chapter looks at the place of special stories in the Bible. The story of God’s love for us is found in the Bible, as well as the lives of great people in God’s plan. Jesus is the most important person in the Bible; his stories are the best.

Chapter 2: Together at Mass
Overview:

Chapter 3: Lent: Preparing for Easter
Overview:
This chapter addresses the season of Lent. Ash Wednesday is the start of Lent, and during these days, we prepare for Easter by caring for others and for our world.

Chapter 4: Stations of the Cross
Overview:
This chapter looks at the 14 Stations of the Cross. These scenes tell the story of Jesus on the day he died. The Church is encouraged to pray these 14 Stations during Lent.

Station 5: The Last Supper
Overview:
This chapter tells us about the last meal that Jesus had with his disciples before he died. During this special meal, Jesus prayed a blessing over bread and wine and gave these gifts to his disciples. Jesus left the Church this special meal, in which we can remember his life, death and resurrection.

Chapter 6: Jesus is Crucified
Overview:
This chapter looks at the death of Jesus. It commences with his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane and concludes with him being placed in a tomb.

Chapter 7: Jesus is Risen!
Overview:
This chapter tells us about the day Jesus was raised from the dead. Many people heard of his rising from the dead, and some special people met the risen Christ on that day.

Chapter 8: Jesus Returns to the Father
Overview:
This chapter tells us that Jesus returned to his Father in heaven. He gave some parting words to his disciples, calling them to tell the world about God’s loving kindness. Jesus promised to always be with his disciples and said he would send the Holy Spirit to help them.

Overview:

Chapter 10: Jesus and the Children
Overview:
This chapter looks at Jesus’ message to his disciples that they should welcome little children. The young ones belong to the kingdom of God and need special care. They are greatly loved by God.

Chapter 11: Baptism
Overview:

Chapter 12: Mary Our Mother
Overview:

Overview:
