After a man is ordained, people call him "father". A priest should treasure that title. It affirms his fatherhood in the Kingdom of God, in his mini church, his wider family, the parish, the community of families which he is called to serve selflessly and generously, joyfully and compassionately, in Jesus the faithful Bridegroom.
